Installation & Filter Loading
- Unscrew the top faceplate retaining thumb screws to open the light-tight carousel cover.
- Thread up to nine standard 1.25-inch astronomy optical filters clockwise into the numbered internal filter cells.
- Replace the cover plate and secure the thumb screws to ensure a light-tight light seal.
- Attach the filter wheel to your telescope using either the direct T2 (M42) male/female threads or the supplied 1.25-inch nosepiece.
- Rotate the external thumb wheel until the desired filter number snaps firmly into the indexed detent click-stop position.
